Lee Holmes - Supercharged Food

Lee Holmes is an author, certified health coach and the brains behind the Supercharged Food blog, which aims to encourage people to live longer, healthier and happier lives. Lee began her blog in 2010, after she was diagnosed with an immune disease, which led her to creating and sharing recipes. With a background in food and nutrition and eager to find a drug-free solution, she became a keen food and health researcher and developed a diet regime that led to her full recovery.

Lee says, “There are a lot of fads and crash diets out there which can just end up making things worse for your body in the long run. In contrast, I’ve tried to ensure that Supercharged Food provides readers with tips and information that helps them make realistic and small changes that can improve their long-term health.

Lee has also created a petition to improve food in NSW Hospitals which is currently taking effect with the Minister for Health, rolling out new menus in a number of hospitals in NSW.

All the free recipes contained in Supercharged Food are gluten, wheat, dairy and sugar free. And they taste good too!

BUPA Health Influencer Blog Awards 2013

Lee Holmes was also the Overall Winner as well as the Healthy Eating – Category Winner at the inaugural BUPA Health Influencer Blog Awards in July 2013 for her Supercharged Food blog. Lee took home the $5000 grand prize.
