Nathalie Brown: Easy Peasy Kids

Nathalie Brown - Easy Peasy Kids

Raising kids can be the most amazing, inspiring and rewarding experience a person can have. However, it can also trigger feelings of inadequacy, deplete your energy and make you downright crazy. So if you’re struggling to understand and manage your child’s behaviour, Easy Peasy Kids can help.

Nathalie Brown is a Melbourne-based childhood behavioural consultant who runs Easy Peasy Kids, a service that offers advice, support, information and guidance to parents and schools. Nathalie has helped many families get to the root of their particular issues and better understand their toddler, tween or teenager.

Nathalie says, ‘I’m passionate about transforming the life of both the child and the parent, through the development of realistic solutions and long-term strategies that help create positive change. I share my thoughts regularly (via my blog) about child and adult behaviour whether it be about real life situations or social media I aim to see the bigger picture. Working with children for twenty years I look at the world through their eyes and piece together the reasons for their behaviour. Through behavioural therapy and focusing on Emotional Intelligence I use all the child’s abilities and strengths and create small changes that help them and you manage most behavioural issues.’

Having a background in teaching allows her to see the uniqueness in each child. Nathalie also believes strongly that every child and family should have fewer tantrums and more smiles. “Although it can be tempting to read a stack of parenting books, I recommend spending time trying to read your child. I started Easy Peasy Kids to help parents and children form closer, more open relationships through improved communication and play.”

Above all it’s about helping children to flourish.
